From Backyard Dreams to Community Facilities
Outdoor Court Design & Installation Across Ontario
TSS specializes in outdoor court design and installation for Canadian families, clubs, schools, and municipalities. Every court is built to perform in every season and designed to last for years to come.
Outdoor Courts, Done Right
A great outdoor court starts long before the surface goes down. It starts with understanding your space, your sport, and the people who’ll be playing on it every day.
As experienced backyard sports court builders, TSS has installed courts in backyards, schoolyards, municipal parks, and private clubs across Canada. Every project is different, but our approach is always the same. We listen first, recommend what’s right for your situation, and handle every detail so the finished court exceeds what you imagined.
The result? A surface that performs through Canadian winters, looks great doing it, and brings people together for years to come.

Common Questions
Outdoor Game Courts
Does TSS install outdoor courts across all of Canada, or just Ontario?
TSS is based in Oakville, Ontario, but has completed installations across Canada, from schools and private clubs to municipal parks and residential backyards. If you’re outside Ontario and considering a project, reach out. We’re happy to discuss what’s possible for your location.
What outdoor court surfaces does TSS offer?
We install two premium outdoor surface systems: SnapSports modular sport tiles and acrylic court surfaces. SnapSports is well-suited to backyard courts and multi-sport applications. Acrylic is the surface of choice for tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts where a traditional, painted finish is the goal. Our team will walk you through which system makes more sense for your space during a consultation.
Can an outdoor court handle Canadian winters?
Yes. Our outdoor surfaces are engineered for year-round Canadian conditions. The surface colour goes right through the material, so it won’t peel or fade from freeze-thaw cycles. When frozen, the court simply waits out the season. Come spring, it’s ready to play. Many of our clients also use their flat, level court as the base for a backyard ice rink in winter.
What's included in a TSS outdoor court installation?
Every project is different, but our turnkey installations typically include site consultation, concrete base preparation, surface installation, and court line marking. Equipment like basketball hoops, net systems, fencing, and lighting can be added to any project. We handle the details so you don’t have to.
Do you install courts for schools and municipalities, or just residential backyards?
Both. TSS works with homeowners, property developers, schools, universities, municipalities, private clubs, resorts, and community centres. Our approach is the same regardless of the setting: we assess the space, understand how it will be used, and recommend the right surface and configuration.
How long does an outdoor court installation take?
Once a contract is signed, most projects are completed within approximately four weeks, though timelines vary based on site conditions, season, and project complexity. We’ll give you a clear timeline during the quoting process.
Does the budget quoted include the concrete base?
Yes. All budget ranges we provide include the concrete base preparation. This is a meaningful part of the total investment, and we include it upfront so there are no surprises. Final pricing depends on the size of your project, your location, and the accessories you choose.
