The Opportunity

Shoot 360 Oakville was designed to deliver a different kind of basketball training experience: AI-powered skill development, real-time feedback, 11 interactive training stations, and full-court play in a purpose-built environment. For that concept to work at a high level, the court surface had to match the sophistication of the training model. Athletes repeating hundreds of movements per session need consistent response, reliable traction, and a professional feel under heavy daily use.

For Total Sport Solutions, the opportunity was clear: support a leading basketball training brand as it launched in Ontario by installing a hardwood system aligned with the standards serious athletes expect. The project also needed to reflect Shoot 360's identity, with court performance and finish quality that complemented the facility's technology-driven training experience. Junckers is the preferred flooring across Shoot 360's US locations, and the Oakville installation continues that standard into Canada.

The Challenge

This was not a standard hardwood court installation. The Oakville project required precise execution across two full courts, with each playing surface carrying three separate sets of three-point lines: high school, FIBA, and NBA specifications, spanning both metric and imperial measurements.

That level of technical detailing increased the importance of layout accuracy, line consistency, and finish quality across the full 18,000 sq. ft. facility. In a training environment built around repetition, data, and player development, even small visual or dimensional errors would stand out. The hardwood installation had to perform both technically and aesthetically.

Total Sport Solutions supplied and installed the Junckers Clip System throughout the Shoot 360 Oakville facility. Junckers is an established name in elite basketball flooring and the official technical supplier of hardwood sports flooring for FIBA through 2028, including major international competitions and the Olympic Basketball Tournaments in Los Angeles.

The installed floor meets FIBA performance criteria for ball bounce, shock absorption, vertical deformation, and traction, the same standards used to certify courts at the highest levels of international basketball. For the young athletes in Halton, Peel, and surrounding regions who will train here regularly, that matters beyond performance.
