Advantages of Junckers™ Sports Flooring
- Reduced installation time. Our prefinished floor eliminates the need to acclimate, sand, seal and finish on site, reducing installation time by 50% to 60% compared with traditionally installed hardwood sports floors.
- Thicker floor. Our finished floors are 7/8” thick which is 18% thicker than sanded in place hardwood floor allowing our floor to withstand more maintenance sanding and providing a longer useful life and ultimately greater value for you.
- Longer Lifespan. All things being equal, 18% thicker results in 18% longer lifespan and the best value for you.
- More Durable. Our exclusive press-dried process increases the strength and hardness of our wood over our competitor’s floors. The more durable a wood floor, the longer it will last.
- Lower Maintenance Cost. Our proprietary press-dried wood and lacquer finish means that, all things being equal, our floors will last longer between sanding. The less frequently a floor is sanded, the lower the cost to maintain it and the longer it will last. A well-maintained Junckers™ floor can last 25%+ longer than our competitor's hardwood floors!
- Factory Finish = Higher Quality. Our prefinished floor eliminates the risk of human error when sanding and lacquering on site ensuring your finished floor is of the highest quality possible.
Undercarriage / Connection Systems
Not all facilities require the same performance or have the same requirements, therefore we offer a variety of installation systems to best suit your situation and requirements. Total Sport Solutions will discuss your needs and assess your flooring requirements based on your planned use and the existing conditions to determine the best floor for your purposes.
Most floors require an even subfloor but we do have systems compatible with an uneven subfloor if necessary. And if you need a portable hardwood floor, we offer that as well.
Most Popular Floors
Clip System
This floating floor system is a great solution for facilities looking to upgrade to a hardwood floor or when renovating an existing building where the finished floor height needs to be kept to a minimum. Our unique Clip System offers the lowest overall height of any solid hardwood system. At just 1-1/4” (32mm) total system height our Clip System makes for easier transitions down to existing floors.
Suitable for multi-purpose facilities, yoga & Pilate studios, spin rooms, basketball training facilities, primary school gyms, church gyms, condominiums, dance studios, group exercise and/or any application where a low finished floor height is needed.
Our press-dried, solid hardwood floor is installed over top of a 10mm sport foam and connected with our unique clip system. Since installation is made without nails, installation is considerably faster than other systems.
